Aren't there any TV stations that just play music videos anymore? Or at least big blocks of them? MTV and VH1 are all reality shows. I really just wanted to be able to turn my TV on and watch some shitty, stupid music videos. Maybe even find some new music to listen to, without having to listen to the radio. I feel like when I was growing up, the cool thing to do was listen to the radio. Oscar and I used to tape songs off of the radio onto cassette tapes, and our timing had to be perfect, because we didn't want to hear the DJs talking at the end of the songs.

But seriously. Who listens to the radio anymore? All the stations we can get around here are crappy, anyway. The good stations have all been taken over by shitty R&B stations. Now we're stuck with the bad oldies station (the GOOD oldies station was taken over by a Christian radio station -- not that I mind that it's Christian radio, but really my qualm is that the actually decent oldies station went under so it could take its place). And let's not even pretend like we could get a good alternative rock station out here in Heritage. I don't want to listen to Justin Beiber or Lady Gaga. I don't want to listen to Obscure Songs From The 70s. I want some decent classic rock, some 80s or 90s pop, or even some 60s stuff, some Motown or folk. Or. You know. Anything good.

This is why God gave us the iPod. So we wouldn't have to listen to the radio. But it sure is hard to find new music to listen to.
